230 Years of fine french craftsmanship. Chaumet carries its legacy into the 20th century catering to the same aristocratic clientele it was originally founded on.  Marie-Etienne Nitot, the creator of Chaumet was first appointed the jeweler of Napolean, using fine french diamonds, precious stones and platinum, Nitot continued creating crown jewels for the royal kings and queens of Europe.  The brand eventually forged into the 1900's giving way to the art deco and feminist style of its era. Prestigious art pieces marked by their symbolism of power, The House of Chaumet is still reputed as one of the finest antique high jewellers in the world.

Valentine's Day is notoriously one of my favorite holiday's!!  Flowers from secret admirers, candy and sentimental baubles ;)  notes of love, romantic dinners, holding hands, champagne, bubble baths, and ahh

...love. The hopeless romantic in me is always delighted to see what cupid will bring!! The diamond symbolizes eternal love and cherishment.  Valentine's is the perfect time to share that sentiment with your sweetie!  Pink is the hue of femininity, playfulness and tenderness.  The Pink diamond is one of the rarest collectible stones on earth.  Exclusive to the uber wealthy, an eeensie weeeensie, itty bitty stone would cost hundreds of thousands by comparison to white or canary diamonds.  Rare is the stone..  rarer is the man who gives it  :(

Andreoli ~ the Jack of all jewels

There's just something about the Italians that gets me every time!!  The language, the food, the passion. THE JEWELRY.  If you've experienced Italian craftsmanship at its best, then you understand their voracious appetite for the finer things in life! From the Greek word  "Adamas", comes "diamond".  The meaning?  Invincible.  The world's hardest known naturally occuring material.  Marginal allotments are filtered through the Diamond Trading Company making the diamond a rare commodity.  Fancy colors of pink, blue, green and red are more challenging to come by, and if you happen upon one, the price will ring a resounding blare!!!  No two stones are ever identical though carat weight, color and clarity may be the same. Typically given in the tradition of everlasting love, the diamond represents purity, innocence, and eternity.  No wonder they're a girl's best friend... unless, of course, you have a Yorkie ;)

Welcome to the House of Harlow!  From Lionel's baby to inept reality star to sophisticated bohemian entrepeneur, our little Miss Richie has come a long way!  Talk about pulling it together ~ this little darling cleaned up her act and made way for a hugely successful clothing and accessory empire.  Her individual style paved the groundwork for an ecclectic mix of chic and funky. Easy, down to earth, wearable and affordable!! I like the way she's keeping it "real" ;) Good on ya Nic!
