Ageless beauty ~

230 Years of fine french craftsmanship. Chaumet carries its legacy into the 20th century catering to the same aristocratic clientele it was originally founded on.  Marie-Etienne Nitot, the creator of Chaumet was first appointed the jeweler of Napolean, using fine french diamonds, precious stones and platinum, Nitot continued creating crown jewels for the royal kings and queens of Europe.  The brand eventually forged into the 1900's giving way to the art deco and feminist style of its era. Prestigious art pieces marked by their symbolism of power, The House of Chaumet is still reputed as one of the finest antique high jewellers in the world.

Slip into something Pink~

Valentine's Day is notoriously one of my favorite holiday's!!  Flowers from secret admirers, candy and sentimental baubles ;)  notes of love, romantic dinners, holding hands, champagne, bubble baths, and ahh
...love. The hopeless romantic in me is always delighted to see what cupid will bring!! The diamond symbolizes eternal love and cherishment.  Valentine's is the perfect time to share that sentiment with your sweetie!  Pink is the hue of femininity, playfulness and tenderness.  The Pink diamond is one of the rarest collectible stones on earth.  Exclusive to the uber wealthy, an eeensie weeeensie, itty bitty stone would cost hundreds of thousands by comparison to white or canary diamonds.  Rare is the stone..  rarer is the man who gives it  :(

One would be awed to receive such a valued treasure, unless of course you happen to be Jenny from the Block.... sheeeesh.. pass that Ben Affleck my way... I'da married his ass on the spot!  For now, I will settle for these brownies ;) recipe available @ http://www.thekitchn.com/

Andreoli ~ the Jack of all jewels

There's just something about the Italians that gets me every time!!  The language, the food, the passion. THE JEWELRY.  If you've experienced Italian craftsmanship at its best, then you understand their voracious appetite for the finer things in life! The clear leader in fashion, Italy sets the bar for romance, luxury and style. While jewelry in the west is generally of sentiment, jewelry in Italy is typically worn as fashion and is intended to make a statement.  Here, Jack Hadgibay of Andreoli combines the finest quality with elegant design.  His pieces are elaborate, yet playful and sexy.  He brings a youthful twist to what is more often considered "mature" jewelry reserved for la Grand Dammes. I am sure if I were a wealthy debutante, Italy would have my hand in matrimony!!
